OK, so although this isn't new, but I finally managed to disable the Ads in Skype that appears on top of chat windows, or any other Ad that appears in Skype for that matter. *happy face*
Instructions as follows (Windows Users):
- Open Internet Options (Accessible through Control Panel)
- Switch to the Security tab.
- Click on the Restricted Sites icon, and click on the Sites button.
- Type the following into the text box and then click the Add button:
https://apps.skype.com
- Close Internet Options and restart Skype.
